Airport of Milano Linate Project Panorama 80

In 2016, the SEA S.p.A. Group commissioned GammaDoors to supply and install a motorized door with side folding (see Panorama 80 model).

The door was made with 80 mm thickness leaves, to reach a free height of 8 meters and a width of 46 meters. The closed hidden frame is realized with an open profile totally galvanized with a thickness of 20/10 produced exclusively on GammaDoors property design. The coating is made of double sheet, galvanized and pre-painted, thickness 6/10.

The lower rail, suitable for the sliding of the pivoting wheels, is made by means of a press-folded profile placed on the floor where in the middle is fixed a round bar made of steel C42 diameter 28 mm, on which the wheels slide.

The upper rail is made of a double profile in aluminum alloy EN-AW-6082, coupled by means of galvanized steel U-bolts, fixed to the supporting structures by bolts that allow a perfect adjustment both on the surface and on the alignment.

The movement of the door has been realized with a chain drive moved by a three-phase engine and managed by a control unite equipped with inverter, with Open-Stop-Close buttons placed on the cover of the controller itself.

The GammaDoors guarantees a resistance to wind load of class 5 certified by the Istituto Giordano S.p.A. (see certificate).
